All classes are an hour a week for 6 consecutive weeks unless noted otherwise

Private One on One Lessons in your home: from 8 weeks of age on up
- Looking for a Professional Personal Trainer? Convenient, customized, one hour a
week sessions in your home (mileage charge after the first 20mi RT)).
- Like any good coach, my job is to observe what is happening, and design a
program to help you make the changes that will let your dog see you as the
leader you are. I'll teach you to change your behavior so your dog changes his.
I do not board/train.
- Add a couple of friends at just $25 each and split 6 wk package fees! (limit of 4
dogs)
- Serving most of Medina/Lorain counties since 1980.
- Flexible times - weekdays and Saturday sessions available.
- Convenient if your schedule is hectic or you just need a little private coaching
in specific areas.
- The place to train is in your home as that is where the problems start.
- Please fill out and submit the Behavior sheet when you register for your class.
- I do not take true aggression cases.

B1: Behavior/manners classes for pups 12 weeks of age through
friendly adult. No dogs at first class. limited to 6-8 students.
- Learn to motivate your dog to work with you.
- B1 class covers the basics of good manners and family obedience
- You will teach your dog the basic commands, sit, down, stay, come, and leash
walking, which are the cornerstone to stopping behaviors you don't want.
- You'll learn to solve problems your group is having with anything from
housebreaking, jumping on your guests, counter surfing, door-dashing etc.
- Get your dog the right kind of human and canine socialization; not just an

B2: Intermediate behavior class. limited to 6-8 students
- Putting what you have learned to practical use.
- The start of heeling and furthering his problem-solving skills.
- Works on more control with distance,time, distraction proofing and starting
some off leash work now that you have a solid foundation.
- Dogs do come to this first class.
- Pre-requisite is graduation from our B1 class.

Our Kindergarten Puppy Training (KPT) is for pups who have their second set
of shots and are under 20 weeks of age. (toy breeds up to 9 mos.)
The class incorporates the AKC S.T.A.R puppy program
Limited to 8 students.
- This is a six week exciting program, designed to get dog owners and their
puppies off to a good start.
- Your puppy will start to learn the foundations of becoming a good adult such as
getting along with other dogs, not biting the kids, taking things nicely when
offered, housebreaking, coming when he is called and paying attention to you.
- The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program is an incentive program for loving dog owners
who have taken the time to take their puppies through a basic training class.
- Open to puppies who have completed their second set of vaccinations and are
under 20 weeks of age at the first class.
- The S.T.A.R. Puppy test is given at the last class by a certified evaluator
- Puppies do come to the first class

- The CGC designation was designed by the AKC to reward responsible owners
who have trained their dogs to have good manners both at home and in the

- The Wellington Veterinary Clinic is partnering with Happy Tails in our FREE
"Trainer On Call" Behavior Consultation Service, exclusively for their clients.
- Call 440.926.2801 every Wednesday 9am-5pm for free advice on behavioral
issues and answers to your training questions.

Camp Happy Tails - Click "Boarding" link at left for more information
- Boarding exclusively for our well-behaved students and graduates and their well
behaved housemates. We are not open to the public.
- Your dog will have access to our property an a regular basis, weather
permitting, to play with his buddies or just hang out.
- In summer he'll be able to swim in our pond if you like.
- Your dog already knows me and I know him, so when he's here, he's family!

Weekly, 10am-noon Saturday Moderated Day Camp play sessions and swimming
in the pond exclusively for our well-behaved, students and graduates, plus a
great "get-away" for their owners. $10 per dog. Please call to reserve your spot.
Open only to our dog-friendly and people-friendly students. Males over
nine months must be neutered. No females in season.
