OUR REQUIREMENTS:
  • Proof of current DHLP-P, Rabies

  • Bordatella (kennel cough) within the past 6 months  (shot or nasal) at least 10 days before the
    start of boarding.

  • Proof of a clear fecal test within the past 6 months.

  • Campers are expected to be on flea and heartworm preventative.

  • We will not accept nuisance barkers nor aggressive dogs. We will board your dog for an
    overnight on a trial period before your vacation though, if you have concerns about that.



    WHAT TO BRING:
  • Enough of his food for his entire stay, in a closed container like Tupperware;  any medications
    he is on with written medicating instruction
  • One favorite hard toy with his name on it, so you are sure to get it returned to you! You may
    also bring marrow bones if you feed them or rawhides etc.

  • Your dog's bed or blanket if you would like. It is nice having something that smells like home!


    BOARDING KENNEL HOURS:
  • Open for pick-up and drop-off, by appointment only, from:

  • 9:00am- 10:30am             Mon. through Sat.
  • 5:00pm- 6:30pm               Mon. through Fri.

  • We are closed Saturday afternoon/evening and all day Sunday for our family time.

  • Alternate pick-up and drop-off times can be arranged (except for holidays) for a $15 service fee
    on top of our daily fee





    Available exclusively to our students and graduates, and their well-behaved housemates, Camp Happy
    Tails is a peaceful and playful environment for your dogs to spend "their" vacation! The  "bunkhouse" is
    climate controlled , and each camper has a comfortable space of his own (4' X 16' or 5' X 16')to snooze  
    after a swim or walk around the pond or playing in one of our large play areas. We offer a stress free    
     home away from home as we only take well-behaved, quiet dogs. We are not open to the public.

    We work like any hotel - fees start the day of drop off and, if you pick up your dog after normal AM
    check - out hours, you pay for that day also. ( See "Rates and Hours")

    Campers go out around 6:00-7am, and periodically during the day,with a last turn out between 9-10pm.
    We feed between 7- 8am and 5-6pm and, if you have a young puppy, we'll also feed at noon. When
    the temperature is cooperative they have indoor/ourdoor run access as long as they are quiet.
